In the town of Louisbourg, on Cape Breton Island, there is a lighthouse.
This lighthouse has a point…or rather a trail.
Which starts out all nice and smooth and is actually a very nice walk, but then turns into this
Which isn’t so nice and smooth and squelches rather a lot.
After walking over this
Which is aptly named “Cobble Beach.”
Other things of note on this trail, were the purple rocks, (Why are they purple?)
The water that gets so frothy it looks like whipped cream, or perhaps milk…
And the beautiful views
The winds and the waves were intense and if you weren’t careful you could easily be washed out to sea.
